My husband and I ate lunch on a weekday. Atmosphere was great, food was great and service was great. Really quaint little restaurant with a county farm feel. Owner was present and really nice to talk to. They clearly have many regulars because some other diners were great by name. Great place to eat, highly recommend!

Their fresh baked biscuits surely were the shining star! The service was quick and friendly. The pancakes reminded me of Cracker Barrel but with more options (blueberry, chocolate chip, and pecan). I liked that I could get the omelet with as many add-ins that I wanted. Coffee was hot, I just wish my waiter was a bit more receptive to our needs (waiting for refills, not bringing everything that was requested). I really wanted to give this 5 stars because it is so quaint. I will definitely return soon.....

Unfortunately I did not have the best southern experience here a Sweet P’s. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese, and the party I was with had fried okra, greens, beans and fried chicken. Now the fried chicken was good, not the best but good. However, my catfish was not fresh and the batter tasted store bought. As in not cornmeal or flour but pre seasoned bagged spices that was dipped and fried. The Mac and cheese was okay and the okra was not fried long enough. The beans had no flavor and then to top it off they ran out of cornbread so no bread was served with the meal. As a dessert we tried the banana pudding and it did not taste homemade at all. It’s not a bad restaurant but the word “ Southern “ is a stretch. Being from the south I know true southern food. The service and atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming, however the food was not the best and unfortunately I will not be returning. Again not a bad restaurant but it’s not a true southern restaurant either.

Awesome 👍 place of southern delights of food and desserts homemade. Service was a warm southern hospitality. Location great and you can even sit outside and enjoy your meal as well. Please go check it out.

I happen to find this restaurant on Google maps so we decided to try it out. I'm very glad we did. Everything on the menu is made fresh, on the spot from scratch. I ordered fried chicken, mac and cheese with cabbage and was not disappointed! Also the owner is very very kind. We recieved amazing customer. If I find myself back in Tennessee, I will be sure to come back!
